The movie starts with Chris Gardner dropping his little kid Christopher to the playschool. Chris Gardner: [narrating] I met my father for the first time when I was 28 years old. Trusting a hippie girl with his scanner (meanwh

SMILE...

How can we define Smile? Umm.., a state and expression of being happy… right? Okay.., so before concluding on above definition let’s just ride through different forms of it.. Well.., not necessarily all the smiling faces that we find around us are happy from within… There will be many who will just go around plastering a wide smile on their face no matter what happens.. to us they appear to be happy but we are just unaware of the battle they are fighting from within..   Yes.., I will name this smile as ‘resilient smile." As all this smile does is spread optimism. It teaches us to continue to be happy on the face of adversity. Sometimes we will just go grinning for the way our day has transpired.. it can be anything, may be a good day at college.., or a good at office or   you know any special occasion .. yes, it just make us feel happy and in turn brings this wide smile on our face.. Yes.., I will name this smile as ‘Happy Smile..’ Sometimes.., w

MOVIE RECOMMENDATION : ROOM..

Room, is a 2015 film directed by Lenny Abrahamson and written by Emma Donoghue based on her 2010 novel. It stars Brie Larson (Ma) as a mother of little 5 year old boy (Jack) and two of them are trapped in a Room .. yes a Room- with just four walls, a bed, a table, a wardrobe and an old T.V. Brie Larson has been held captive for seven years and her five year old son was born in Room. Brie Larson creates this fairy tale kind of existence for her little boy and convinces him that their life is perfectly normal , that there is nothing wrong with being trapped in a 10-by-10 Room for years.., where a mysterious stranger (old Nick) comes to drop off supplies and hurts Ma. The movie begins with little boy (Jack) telling us how he came into the possession of his mother.. He wakes up and greets every piece of furniture in Room as for Jack everything has a personality and a proper name.. Jack: Good Morning Lamp..          Good Morning plant..          Good Morning rug..          Good

GENERATION GAP...

Daddy: How was your exam dear? Me: Oh daddy, it was very chill.. (me using the word chill just left my dad in the state of ambiguity as on what context am I using that word..😂) Daddy: okay so you people say it as chill.. Me: (laughing).., daddy it was very easy.. So next day again he rings me up to ask about my next exam.. Me: hello.., daddy..!(in a very happy tone..) Daddy: umm.., it seems today too your exam was chill.. Me: haha..dad, yes.. The above slab of conversation that I had with my dad just left me into a reverie that our parents do bring in alteration in their ways to break this wall of generation gap and to ease up the equation we share with them.. Well.., here the question on which I will like to throw a light  is that..,"Is it easy for them?" You know what.., It's natural human tendency to resist change.., and so is for our parents.. but still they just do to share a friendly equation with us. Yes.., deep down we all know this.., bu

BOOK REVIEW: A MAN CALLED OVE....

"People said Ove saw the world in black and white. But she was the colour. All the colour he had.." Above are the ending lines of chapter five. It's a story about a man who had staunch principles.., who followed stringent routine , a man who appeared to be bitter but had a soft heart beneath.., yes it's the story about 'A Man Called Ove'. People felt Ove was bitter , but he was not bitter he just did not go grinning all the time. The way he faces all the struggles in his life.., the loneliness that had crept inside him when he loses his parents.., had nobody who would love him, care for him.., he saw the world in black and white.. until Sonja plunged into his life.. yes, the love of his life and all the colour he had.. The book is the amalgamation of all the kinds of emotions. It will make you laugh..,weep a little..,and will definitely make you contemplate about this Man Called Ove.. Ove was little different and quirky , who was disliked by people..
