MOVIE RECOMMENDATION: PRETTY WOMAN...

Pretty Woman is 1990 American romantic comedy film directed by Garry Marshall, staring Richard Gere and Julia Roberts.

The movie is basically about Edward Lewis(Gere), a wealthy businessman who hires Vivian Wards(Julia Roberts), a carefree call-girl to be his escort for several business and social functions and then over the time how they gradually fall in love with each other.

Vivian is the cynosure of the movie. Looking at the energetic spirit with which Vivian lives her life made Edward (whose life was shallow and empty) change his approach towards it..

Edward and Vivian being diametrically opposite people , confront many problems and the way they surpass it by bringing in needed amendments in their individual lives and learning from each other is being depicted out in the movie very beautifully..

Take away from the movie:

'Just be yourself''...

Vivian glows to be the honest, sincere and sweet personality. Though she did not belong to the the upper class and seemed to be the misfit for Edward's world of rich, she never felt the need to change herself she was comfortable in her own skin and the way she was.., she always wanted to be loved for who she is and not for what people felt she would become..

Even though movie seems to be very unrealistic it's still a delightful watch!

A good Rom-com..!

LOCKDOWN LIFE

LOCKDOWN LIFE #StayHome #StaySafe #StaySane HOME Khush yaar…, you know what, tomorrow we have this seminar on Software Testing and Quality Assurance for which we are supposed to download loads of applications and what not, and, and, on the top of it, its going to be for like six long hours ( with just half an hour lunch break) can you believe it…! Firstly, the idea of working Saturday does not fit in my brain… Secondly, it’s for six long hours… No actually, five and half long hours, thirty minutes lunch break…, Khushi interjects. Well, okay, I edit. Secondly, it’s for like five and half long hours… Lastly, ‘ATTENDANCE IS COMPULSORY’, I say it with a tinge of annoyance in my voice to my dearest roomie Khushi. Wait, wait, wait, hang on there, take it easy bro…, says Khushi. Well, you are right, but I really don’t want it to happen, you know. Khush, I was actually thinking to download all the required software tomorrow morning. What say? For now, I should j...

WHAT IS TIME..?

"Oh we had such a good time that day..!" "OMG I am getting late.., I just did't keep note of time. " "Please do come on time ." "That person is very much particular about time.. "                             Yes.., we use the word 'Time' so often. Well, what exactly does it mean..? So here I decide to google it and get to know it's technical meaning.. Google says.., It is a point of time as measured in hours and minutes past midnight or noon. It is the indefinite continued progress of existence and events in the past, present, and future regarded as a whole. It is plan, schedule, or arrange when (something) should happen or be done. Okay.., now let's just dive into it in our own way.., the way we look at it. [ Below is the conversation that I had with my friend. ] My Friend: So, see you tomorrow morning at 8 o’clock and yes, don’t be late. Me: Yes.., okay. See ...

THE TWO ME: OPTIMISTIC ME... PESSIMISTIC ME...

Sometimes I actually feel as if I am being governed by 'Two Me' the Optimistic me and the Pessimistic me and you know actual conversation runs through my head between the two.. Optimistic Me: You can do it.., it's worth taking a risk.. Pessimistic Me: Oh.. no no .., do not risk it, what if it does not turn up the way you have thought it.. Optimistic Me: And what if it does turn up the way I have thought it.. Pessimistic Me: Well.., you actually need a reality check. You need to think practically dude just do not rush into it.. Optimistic Me: It's definitely worth a try.. Pessimistic Me: And what if it will only incur loss.. Optimistic Me: Um, just leave... Yes, our mind does have such conversation isn't it? Okay.., So if 'Pessimistic me' escalates up whenever we are trying to opt for a difficult path then you know what just tell 'Pessimistic me' to buzz off.. Yes we can actually shape our thoughts and shift our gears with it a...
